Rome Fiumicino Airport is Italy's busiest airport and a hub for ITA Airways, operating alongside Rome Ciampino for low-cost traffic. Three runways give Fiumicino reasonable capacity, and Rome's Mediterranean climate means disruptions are relatively infrequent.
